TracPipe stainless steel semi-rigid gas pipe is quickly becoming the recognized alternative to traditional rigid copper or steel, installed between meter and appliance. (For installations before the meter it is possible to use TracPipe and reference should be made to BS EN 12007-1).

Tracpipe manufactured to BS 7838 may be buried directly in screed/concrete, without the need for additional protection. Flow capacities for residential sizes of TracPipe are identical to those for copper (see BS 6891 - Specification for installation of low pressure gas pipework of up to 28 mm (R1) in domestic premises (2nd family gas)).
